Silver Bit & Spur is a 60+ acre, family-run farm located in scenic Hunterdon County, NJ.  Visitors are encouraged to stop in; we are open to the public 365 days a year with services running, weather permitting. 

We offer numerous options in our equine boarding facilities designed to accommodate horses in all degrees of luxury.  Sign up for western, english, or dressage lessons and choose from a one-on-one private education with any one of our knowledgeable and experienced instructors, or a more social setting with our group lesson options.  Register your children for our comprehensive summer camp program.  Love horses but can’t afford to own?  Leasing might be the perfect choice. 

We also offer public, unguided trail riding for casual riders through advanced equestrians, as well as pony rides and pony parties for the younger set.  On your ride you may get to see deer, fox, turkey, or pheasant.  If you'd like to stay longer, we have lots of things to do.  Pack a lunch and enjoy it in our picnic area; the kids will have fun too on our trampoline, swing set, and playground.

We always have an extensive selection of horses for sale, as well as a tack shop on the premises for all your equipment needs. 

Already own a horse?  We offer local and long distance trailering, bringing top quality equipment and experienced personnel to you at an affordable rate.
